History
Founded in 1964 by Paul and Jeanette Sferes, Clean-O-Rama is a family owned and operated one-stop shopping janitorial supply company. The daily operations are still handled and controlled by the Sferes family. And today, just as 50+ years ago, Clean-O-Rama still prides itself on the ability to deliver high quality products and expert customer service. We carry over one million dollars in inventory and more than 5,000 products in 30 different categories. Our nationally-branded lines include Genesan/Pollet, ProLink, Buckeye, TomCat, Rubbermaid, 3M, Clorox, Karcher/Windsor Equipment, VonDrehle paper products, and Microfiber & More microfiber. This large inventory allows for flexibility, choice, and accurate, on-time deliveries. Our strategic partnering with these manufacturers allows us to be our customer's best solution when it comes to meeting their needs. A dedicated sales, service and support team, including equipment and on-site service as well as a full training menu, have allowed Clean-O-Rama to become Northern New England's fastest growing full-line janitorial supply distributor.

Clean-O-Rama is proud to offer many products that have earned various third-party ecological certifications from prestigious organizations such as Green Seal, EcoLogo, EcoLabel and the USDA. These certifications attest to Clean-O-Rama's commitment to offering products that are safe, high-in-value and sustainably sourced. Additionally, Clean-O-Rama has reduced its carbon footprint. Since 2012, we have supported clean air initiatives sponsored by CO2 Logic, a carbon offsetting organization that has certified our Genesan product line as 100% carbon neutral with regard to transport from Europe to Clean-O-Rama's end users.

The right products are just part of the solution to providing a safer, healthier environment; proper training is a key element to success. In support of this, our Marketing & Training Coordinator, Meghan Proulx, and our Product & Equipment Specialist, Travis Lawrence, are Certified CIMS-GB (Cleaning Industry Management Standard-Green Bldg) ISSA Certified Expert. This certification provides the expert skill to help take you beyond green through a standardization plan that is in line with criteria developed by LEED-EB.
